Several suspect characteristics are significantly related to the prevalence, frequency, and timing of the first new incident of victimization and recidivism. For instance, the odds of new victimization are 30% to 60% less for each additional year of age. Also, according to the official data, suspects with prior arrests for any offense are from 250% to 330% more likely to commit new acts of intimate partner violence. Unlike the consistent effects for suspect’s age and prior record, the contradictory findings regarding their race in victim interviews and official records present a conundrum for this and subsequent research. From official records, white suspects are less likely to re-offend after the experimental incident.

Write a six to eight (6-8) page paper in which you:

Provide Part I: Revision of A Problem Exists (3-4 pages)

1. Revise, using feedback from the professor and classmates, your Persuasive Paper Part I: A Problem Exists. 

Develop Part 2: Solution to Problem and Advantages (3-4 pages for 6-8 pages total)

The US Healthcare System Compared to Other Countries

The U.S. healthcare system is like no other industrialized country. The U.S. spends more money on health care than any other country yet is criticized for having one of the poorer health systems.

Some countries, such as Canada, Great Britain, and Sweden, follow a socialized system of health care, while others, such as Japan, Germany, and France, have decentralized national health programs.

Both systems have their advantages and disadvantages.

If you had to decide on one health care system for the U.S., which system would you choose and why?

Disparities in Health Care Distribution

It is estimated that over 46 million people do not have health insurance coverage in the United States. In addition, many more individuals are underinsured or have such high deductibles and co-pays that they do not even seek medical care. Given this information, the logical question that arises is, should health care coverage be provided to everyone?
