1. After reading this week’s poems (listed above and linked below), discuss how these more contemporary pieces you feel they speak to you about contemporary society (or not), compare to the hopes of Walt Whitman and express the spirit of postmodernism. Also, please discuss if you enjoyed/did not enjoy any of the poems and why. You do not need to discuss all of the poems, though discuss at least three. 2.
