Strategic Planning in Homeland Security

I need a 4 part strategic plan. I have completed part 1 (subject and all), but it needs corrections. Part 2 needs to be completed by 26 Sep. So, parts 1 & 2 have to be completed by 26 Sep. Part 3&4 have to be completed by 9 Oct. I have attached the instructions, Chapter 1 that needs to be corrected, and an example paper. The title of my paper is in Chaper 1.

This assignment will help you prepare for the next module’s assignment about Workforce 2020. Workforce 2020 refers to the type of workforce leaders are likely to encounter in 2020. The concept refers to the workforce that will emerge from trends such as increased globalization and diversity, more extensive use of technology, and the use of non-traditional staff such as more contractors and other “just-in-time” assets.

For this assignment, you will need to consider trends in leadership and organizational structure, for example, the move toward a more participative leadership style and a more networked organizational structure.

Identify an organization of your choice. This could be your current employer. It could even be a hypothetical organization or that of one of your peers. Be sure you have access to information about the organization and about the industry the organization is in. We would suggest choosing an organization and industry that are changing so that you can explore strategies for change management.

Research on that organization, and then respond to the following:

• Describe the organization you have chosen. Please include the name and a short description of the organization’s products or services.
• How does the organization motivate its employees? Describe any programs or methods they use to motivate workers. If the organization does not have any employee motivational strategies, suggest some strategies that you think will be effective.
• Describe the current state of the organization’s workforce dynamic. Is its workforce growing? Is it changing? How is it changing and why?
• What are some of the workforce trends that this organization needs to address? What similar organizations can be used as a benchmark?
• What are some of the industry trends that are affecting the organization overall? Is the industry growing, or declining?

Write your initial response in 3–5 pages in Word format. Apply APA standards to citation of sources. Use the following file naming convention: LastnameFirstInitial_M4_A2.doc.

The Project Paper will be graded on:

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

Rough Draft of Final Paper

In this course, you have looked at classical ethical theories of utilitarianism, deontology, and virtue ethics. You have also examined different perspectives on ethical issues introduced by relativism, ethical egoism, and emotivism. For this paper, you will apply these theories and perspectives to a current issue.

Choose an ethical issue to write about. You may choose from the list below, or, with approval from the instructor, select a different socially-relevant topic. It is recommended that you choose a topic that you are familiar with or that you have some interest in exploring further. For the purposes of this paper, your topic should pertain to a current area of interest in the news and/or government policy forums.

• The media and their responsibilities
• Domestic surveillance
• Whistleblowing in government or in a business

In your paper, you will apply ethical theories and perspectives to the issue that you select. You do not have to use all six, but you should apply at least two ethical theories and at least one ethical perspective in your paper. Make sure that you write primarily on ethical topics and concepts, aiming to be both balanced and intellectually driven in your work. You may share your personal views, but do not rely on opinions (yours or those offered by others) to make your case. Think about the evidence that helps to make your case and use it.

Address the following questions:

• What are the ethical issues?
• Where are there breaches of ethical behavior?
• How could each ethical theory you cite help people think about what constitutes virtuous or ethical behavior?

Your draft must include at least three pages of text plus a title page and a references page. Your draft should include a clear thesis statement that states what you plan to argue. It should also explain how you intend to develop the final paper and include a list of the sources you intend to use. You can also use the Sociology Research Guide located in the Ashford University Library. Format your rough draft according to APA style and properly cite and reference all your sources according to APA format. Note: The final version of this paper will be 1500 to 1800 words, plus separate title and reference pages, and will use at least five academic sources.
