Complete the Supply and Demand Simulation located on the student website.

Write 700 – 1,050–wordpaper using the following highlighted items as guidelines for the headings in the body of your paper:

·         Identify two microeconomics and two macroeconomics principles or concepts from the simulation. Explain why you have categorized these principles or concepts as macroeconomic or microeconomic.

In this assignment, the public administrator expands on the selected issue challenges by assessing its impact within and outside of an agency.

Using the issue you selected from Assignment 1, write a three to four (3-4) page paper in which you respond to the following questions:

1. Evaluate an agency the issue impacts and assess the level of interdependence between planning, human resource management, and budgeting. Create a scenario in which you explain the overall manner in which these functions interact. Justify your response with examples. 2. 3. Provide a rationale for your response. Note: In this question, the student focuses on how and in what matter the agencies budget may influence the policy issue.
4. Based on your response to Question #1 regarding planning, analyze the impact of political responsivenessand propose two (2) challenges that political responsiveness may present for management. Note: In this question, the student discuss how public administrators may respond to the issue and what challenges the issue presents to management.
5. Include at least four (4) peer-reviewed references (no more than five [5] years old) from material outside the textbook. Note: Appropriate peer-reviewed references include scholarly articles and governmental WebsitesWikipedia, other wikis, and any other Websites ending in anything other than “.gov” do not qualify as academic resources.

Compiling and Interpreting Assessment Information

Consider the following scenario:

You are invited to attend a staff meeting in the preschool where you are doing your student teaching. During the meeting, there is a discussion about strategies that can be used to assess children’s social and emotional development. One staff member enthusiastically suggests, “Let’s set up a chart that lists all of our children and the behaviors that we want them to demonstrate. We can place stickers next to each child’s name when that child exhibits specific behaviors. This will certainly encourage everyone to behave well in class. Then we can use the number of stickers that each child earns as an indicator of their social and emotional growth and development.”

Consider what you have learned about compiling assessment information in Chapter 6 and interpreting assessment information in Chapter 7.
