I personally enjoyed this class. I found it very interesting learning about Lockheed Martin and its business ethics history. I have heard about this major corporation throughout my military career as an aircraft maintainer and to get the inside scoop of the inter-workings has given me a new perspective on the importance of ethics in the workplace. I actually have a friend who recently retired from the military and started working for LM so it will also be interesting to get his perspective on their ethics program first hand once he gets settled in.
Learning more in depth about business ethics and ethical decision-making along with how important it is to have an ethics grounded culture in life and in the workplace will help me be able to make sound decisions and ensure my life my organization and my future organizations are successful. As I continue on throughout my military career and even afterwards this knowledge is another important tool that I can add to my leadership tool kit.
